Football for All Blitz
the terrible recent weather has prevented many Football for All Teams/Players from training & unfortunately, many of these players have not played football or met their football friends since last December 2025.
Therefore, we have scheduled another DDSL ‘INDOOR BLITZ ’ for ‘Football for All’ for SATURDAY 7th March 2026 to be held on the Indoor Astro in the Sport Ireland Campus Abbotstown. (Similar location to the previous Blitz on 21st December 2025)
Please advise all your players/coaches to arrive at 10am so we will be ready to begin games at 10.30am
The games will be very flexible & we want it to be a fun day as well as having competition for the older sections.
The ‘Age Groups’ will be as normal: Ages 5 to 9; Ages 10 to 14 & Ages 14+
Can you let me know what teams you are looking to enter & what ‘Age Groups’.??
Once I have all the applications received, I will forward on the ‘FFA Blitz’ Fixture Schedule.
SCHEDULE FOR THE FFA BLITZ
- Arrive 10am
- Saturday 7th March 2026
- Address: Sport Ireland Campus, National Indoor Arena, Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15,.EIRCODE D15 EPN4
- Plenty of Parking
- Games expected to begin approx.. 10.30am & to finish close to 12/12.30pm
- Footwear : Moulded and/or screw-in stud boots allowed
- Players to bring water/towel & any medicine required
- Coaches to bring a couple of footballs/bibs/medical kit
- Coffee/Tea etc available in the Sports Centre
