The Senior A Squad was at home on Saturday night where they entertained Cloonfad United in the Roscommon & District Premier Division Clash. The home side got off to a flyer when Liam Lynch opened the scoring early on and Lynch doubled the Town's lead with a stunning free kick. David Nee then added the third for the Town with a neat finish before Lynch completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after Luke Tierney was fouled inside the area leaving the scoreline a healthy 4-0 at the interval.

After the break it was more of the same with Ballinasloe having most of the possession but it was the visitors who pulled a goal back after a mix up in the otherwise solid Ballinasloe solid display from the defense. Again Ballinasloe pressed on and Liam Lynch added his fourth of the game and Jordan O'Leary completed the scoring with a tidy finish before the end to leave the score 6-1 at the final whistle.

Best for Ballinasloe were Shane Treacy, Skipper Petie Keighery, Joseph Kelly & David Nee but MOTM will have to go to the four goal hero Liam Lynch in a somewhat flawless performance. The Senior A Squad are still four points clear at the top of the table and will play Ballymoe next Saturday night Away & kick off will at 7.45pm.
